Mylanta Heartburn Relief provides symptom specific relief from heartburn. It has four separate antacids - Magnesium Hydroxide, Aluminium Hydroxide, Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate to neutralise stomach acids, relieve heartburn pain and prevent reflux. Alginic acid acts as the rafting agent.
Available in 500ml bottle and 20s and 50's tablet packs.
Dosage:
20ml liquid or 2 tablets 3 times daily.
Active Ingredients:
Each 20ml of liquid contains: Aluminium Hydroxide-Dried 400mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 400mg, Calcium Carbonate 500mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 500mg, Alginic Acid 310mg. Contains Butyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.4mg/ml, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.6mg/ml as preservatives and Saccharin Sodium. Each 20ml dose contains 6.4mmol Sodium.
Ingredients for tablets; Magaldrate 371mg, Alginic Acid 215 mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 234 mg. Also contains Saccharin Sodium and lactose.. Each tablet contains 3mmol Sodium

You have been taking Mylanta antacids continuously for 14 days
Symptoms include: vomiting, blood or coffee grain
like material in faeces
Before use in children under 12 years of age.
Before use if you have kidney disease.
Caution: Do not take Mylanta® Heartburn Relief within 2 hours of taking any medication for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, arthritis, gout, bacterial or fungal infection. Mylanta antacids may reduce the effectiveness of these medications. If pregnant, do not exceed the recommended dose unless under medical supervision.
