Rectinol

Did you know that approximately 50%1 of the population will experience haemorrhoids at some stage in their life?

What are Haemorrhoids?

To make the passing of bowel motions more comfortable, the rectum (back passage) is lined with "anal vascular cushions". However, for various reasons, these "cushions" can become damaged or detached from the bands of muscle in the rectum. It is these damaged or detached cushions that become haemorrhoids or "piles".

Haemorrhoids are painful swellings in/or around the anus caused by a varicose condition of the haemorrhoidal veins.  They can be internal or external.

Rectinol®
